Shareez Hamm, a senior at Academy of Art, won the men's 400-meter hurdles title in 49.97 seconds at the NCAA Division 2 Championships at Francis G. Welch Stadium at Emporia State University in Kansas. Hamm, who became the 23rd male competitor in Division 2 history to eclipse the 50-second barrier in the 400 hurdles, also contributed to Academy of Art finishing fourth in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:08.53.
